Hydro Tasmania is progressing planning for the proposed Cethana pumped hydro project near Moina. This would create hundreds of jobs during construction, and we need to ensure there is suitable accommodation for workers. The facility will provide quality accommodation and amenities for up to 450 workers during the expected eight-year construction phase. 

We’ve identified a site for a Workforce Accommodation Facility (WAF) at Middlesex, adjacent to Cradle Mountain Road.
